Anna slept pretty good last night, up at 11:00pm and 1:00am. "Just a little hungry, Mama", she said. She woke up a little after 6:00am and said hi to Daddy before he left for work. She's not always awake before Brent leaves, so it was a treat this morning and she gave him some award-winning smiles. Back to bed at 7:00am. I watched the news for a few minutes and enjoyed my Honey Nut Cherrios. Then I fell asleep again, too, till my little alarm clock Anna woke up at 9:00am. We had some smiley time, she is so sweet in the morning! Then she sat in her high chair like a big girl for her rice cereal and bottle. We listened to her favorite CD - Puff the Magic Dragon - and she fell asleep for her nap. She's still snoozing. I've showered (yeah!!) and had my daily PB&J (so delicious). Quite a nice morning, I'd say!
I have to go in to work at 4:30 today for my annual evaluation. My job is kind of isolating - meaning there is only one of us on per shift, so I'm on my own. Plus, working weekends I don't see any of the other case managers or my bosses (which is really quite fine with me!!). So, I'll go in today and see how they think I'm doing - hope they like me! Maybe a raise??!!
I will drop off Anna to Brent at 4:00, when he gets off work. We'll meet in the parking lot at his school. They are having a book fair, so Anna may get to go in and see everybody. She'll like that. She likes most anything as long as she's with her Daddy!
