Spring Fun

We have been enjoying awesome spring weather this week! 60's and sunshine. Anna has learned that she loves playing outside. She was a little timid at first, but now is quite the little adventurer! It's a whole new world for Anna to explore. She likes to carry around her little red bucket and collect leaves and sticks. She calls leaves "Lee!". I had to teach her that not everything should be picked up - like the bird poop on the sidewalk. So now for less pleasant things Anna says, "Ucky".

We have spent a lot of time outside for the past few days - bouncing the ball, wagon and stroller rides, and blowing bubbles. Anna likes the bubbles a lot and waves her hands around to try to touch them. One bubble yesterday popped on the end of Anna's little tiny nose. It was a perfect moment. Anna smiling and surrounded by bubbles all colorful from the sun. And one floated toward her face and popped when it touched her nose. She didn't really seem to notice, but it was precious for me to see. It made a sweet memory for me.

Today the weather man said it will be high of 68. Look out "lee's" and "ucky's" and "balls", because here we come. Tomorrow looks to be more 60's and Brent has a half day off from school. So, we'll get to play outside again tomorrow with Daddy. Spring is so wonderful!
